People need to remember you get what you pay for , This is a very reasonably priced place. The rooms are huge. Yes the decore is perhaps a little worn but the place is clean and safe.
The staff are so kind and can not do enough for you and happy to a range things for you . The location is excellent it is a very short walk to the kite surfing beach and a little further to white beach but a nice walk . very close to D mall right in the hub of everything going on and great for bars restaurants and shops
Googled "cheapest hotel in Boracay", found La Oviedo, so there you have it. You're getting what you pay for, so don't expect anything beyond a very simple hotel.
That said, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat if you can deal with noisy AC, sheets that aren't brand new, and hot water only at night. It's cheap and you're paying to have a place to crash at night, not a place to hang out in.
The staff is really helpful and friendly, they helped us organise the day trip to Ariel's Point. The wifi is relatively reliable. The room was fairly clean.
All in all, I'll probably go back if I return to Boracay.
I stayed in this place for 8 nights and was pleased with everything. All my small requests was done in the timely manner. Place located near beach all beaches very close to location. There are many restaurants near by and all local attractions. If you need something from the store all of them very close to the place. Place is very quiet, only the roosters may wake you up in the morning, but I see in that some little touch to my stay. Special thanks to Andy, who made my stay comfortable.
